SAHA are FLIM-FCS upgrade kits for Laser Scanning Microscopes or Spectroscopy setups that can be easily integrated into your commercial or custom-built system.
The Upgrade Kits are divided into two families (Essential and Full), both available in different series (SAHA160, SAHA320, SAHA640) that can provide up to 32 parallel and independent channels in photon-counting mode.
The SAHA Full Upgrade Kit presents all the features available in the Essential Upgrade Kit, with the addition of embedded front-end electronic components that allow the direct A-to-D conversion of any analog signal (PMT) coming from your sensors or detectors. Hence, whether the input signal in any of the available channels is analog (PMT) or digital (APD, SPAD, HyD), the Full Upgrade Kit will acquire it, perform A-to-D conversion if needed, and process it.
The SAHA 320 series can resolve up to 3 τ-fluorescence lifetime components within the same fluorescence decay histogram.
Thanks to the USB 3.0 plug-and-play connectivity, SAHA is a reliable and robust device for everyday lab activities.
The Upgrade Kit comes as a box that directly plugs to the input and output signals present in the setup through coaxial cables (different types of connector are available):
- Pulsed Laser Source – Synchronization signal
- Sensor & Detectors
- Control Electronics – Frame, Line or Pixel clock for imaging purposes
Moreover, any SAHA Full Upgrade Kit can also drive a +2.5V TTL 50Ohm output signal to digitally set and control the laser repetition frequency (Laser module should allow for external modulation).
SAHA families take best advantage of the Phasor Plot analysis providing state of the art FPGA-based Digital Frequency Domain (DFD) instrumentation.
The concept behind each SAHA product embraces an approach based on the full customization of your instrument: you only get the FLIM-FCS upgrade kit you really need for your application.
In order to enforce our idea of creating handy and customizable scientific equipment, all our SAHA Upgrade Kits are based on the same hardware platform, making it easy to switch between different configurations simply upgrading the instrument firmware.
At FLIM LABS, we design all our devices in house and we assemble them with our own hands.
This means that we can easily develop and incorporate new FLIM-FCS-compatible functionalities on the customer’s request in a matter of weeks.
SAHA families and series are indeed not strictly off-the-shelf products: they can be tailored in accordance with customer tech-specs. B2B as well as B2C new product solutions are welcome.
